Is your online calendar always up-to-date?

How long will a massage take?
Up to you, we offer massages of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 75 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes. Most clients choose the 60 minutes relaxation massage. Most of your body will be treated and you will be completely zen afterwards. You can always pick another kind of treatment.
For who is a massage suitable
Suitable for everyone, although there are a few exceptions:
  • You are responsible to inform us about any current or past relevant medical condition;
  • If you experience physical or mental health issues, injuries, use medication or are treated by a specialist/doctor you must inform the therapist before your treatment;
  • When pregnant or trying to become pregnant, inform your therapist;
  • In some cases first consult your specialist before enjoying your massage;
  • The therapist is entitled to not start or stop the treatment if you did not inform beforehand or the situation is uncomfortable or unsafe;
  • Coming with a minor? More than welcome if they want it themselves. We have massaged kids in the past with a (foster) parent present. Preferably same sex performs the treatment.
I am pregnant, can I receive a massage?
As long as it is not the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and your specialist or midwife did not give a negative recommendation, we can give the treatment. We avoid certain pressure points. Trouble laying on your belly? We offer treatment in side position.
Any disadvantages of a massage?
We cannot think of any 😉 Some people do not like a lot of oil on skin or hair. We use a little oil, your skin will feel like it has been treated with body lotion. You can wear your clothes after the treatment. No oil is used for face and hair. We use homemade organic massage oil.
I never had a massage before, can you explain?
Some people are excited or nervous for their first massage. Nothing to worry about. All our massages focus on relaxation. You are always by yourself with the therapist. We massage with oil on skin so it is best to take off clothes, but only if comfortable. Jewellery can stay on; towels cover you constantly. Let us know if uncomfortable; we adapt to your wishes.
What is a couples massage?
A couples massage is for 2 persons in the same room (partner, friend, family). We never put you next to a stranger. Massage tables are side by side; 2 therapists massage simultaneously. Packages are very popular with couples.
What clothes do I wear?
Completely up to you. You are always with the therapist, so wear what feels comfortable. Oil is applied to skin; removing clothes is optional. Jewellery can stay on. You are covered with fresh towels; we only uncover the area being massaged. Let us know if uncomfortable.
Can I gift a massage?
Of course! We have gift certificates and we gift wrap them nicely. You can also book the treatment already but that’s optional. Enjoy the gift together!
What kind of oil do you use?
We use organic homemade oil (lavender, ginger, orange). Sensitive skin? We can use pure almond oil. Occasionally clients bring their own oil. Base oil until 2022 was sunflower, replaced with sesame. Both are hypoallergenic.
Do I have to bring something?
No, everything is included (footbath, bathrobes, fresh towels). Arrive on time to enjoy your treatment.
Do you have a reception and a doorbell?
Yes, we have a waiting room/reception area since spring 2018. No doorbell, so you can enjoy your massage without disturbance.
How long does RUST. exist?
We opened in July 2009 at this address. Nicely hidden in the middle of it all. During renovation in Jan/Feb 2018, we had a temporary Pop-Up store in West.
Do you have a shower?
Yes, but cannot guarantee availability. We use little oil so showering isn’t necessary. If you want to use a shower, let us know; we can reserve it. Small donation for charity appreciated.
How can I pay?
  • Pay immediately online, or with PIN, VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, UnionPay, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, AmEx, PayPal, or cash after treatment. Bank transfer also possible (not preferred): KNAB NL52KNAB0258405805;
  • iDeal link by WhatsApp/email or online payment for gift cards;

Airconditioning
Since 2020, we offer air-conditioned rooms.
Covid19
We always work clean, now even cleaner. Towels washed after use, floors mopped after each massage, head-rest and table disinfected. No restrictions in the Netherlands. If you have requests, let us know.
